Solving for safer cities and equitable, thriving communities.

At Motorola Solutions, our work makes a difference in the critical moments that shape lives, businesses and the world, but our contributions don’t end there. Our company gives back to the communities where it operates through its charitable arm, the Motorola Solutions Foundation.

About the Foundation

The Motorola Solutions Foundation, which has donated more than $100 million over the past 10 years, prioritizes support for first responders, technology and engineering education and underserved and underrepresented groups.

Enabling employees to give back

Organized service projects

The Foundation supports employees in their desire to give back – connecting them to organizations where they can drive change. We do this by facilitating group volunteer opportunities – from blood drives to robotics clubs – in their local communities.

Global Months of Service (GMoS)

The Foundation hosts an annual volunteer-a-thon in which teams around the world complete volunteer projects to generate donations for charity. In 2023, 28% of employees across 43 countries logged 60,000+ volunteer hours during Global Months of Service, resulting in $250,000 in donations.

CEO Award for Volunteerism

The Foundation recognizes the exemplary volunteer efforts of a select group of employees each year with the company’s highest volunteer honor: the CEO Award for Volunteerism. Recipients receive an award and $5,000 to designate toward a nonprofit.

Engagement Committees

Local Engagement Committees offer employees the opportunity to serve as site-specific volunteer ambassadors. Employees can organize service projects with local nonprofits, ensuring support for the communities in which we live and work.

We are committed to solving for safer every day.
