By delivering ground-breaking solutions aimed at solving industry challenges now and tomorrow. By connecting every radio user and every work site everywhere.
As we celebrate a decade of the MOTOTRBO innovation, we look back at the journey of transforming workforce communications with three generations of evolution.
First Generation in 2007:
Better Basics
At the very beginning of analogue-digital migration, Motorola Solutions was the first to provide digital radios with "better basics".
We provided breakthroughs such as 40% more talk time, as well as the start of data communications with basic text messaging.
Second Generation in 2012:
The Right Device For The Right User
We introduced an extensive product portfolio with improved functionality features and more data-based solutions such as GPS tracking and job ticketing.
MOTOTRBO radio was the first in the market to introduce blue-tooth function.
Next innovation focused on refined look and feel, with the thinnest and slimmest radios like the SL1M and SL1K.
Collaborating with a growing network of third-party application developers - 300 globally today with 50 in Asia Pacific.
Introduction of dispatch applications.
Enhanced features and value for customers.
Third Generation in 2016:
Next Generation MOTOTRBO
Next-generation MOTOTRBO radios feature 29 hours of battery life and indoor location tracking.
Integrated Wi-Fi allows all radios in a system to be reprogrammed simultaneously without taking them out of users’ hands. Wi-Fi connectivity can help save workers hundreds of hours in lost time while delivering highly secure, reliable and cost-efficient professional two-way radio communications.
